The international exhibition Paper and Tissue One Show (PTOS) was held at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center. The fair was organized by Al Furat F. Ltd. Eyewitnesses confirm that a high level of organization has been achieved: guests, participants, and visitors have received excellent service. The event is unique in that it has no analogs in Central Asia and only here you can get acquainted with such a wide range of paper products. This is not surprising, since the event, which took place from January 21 to 23, 2025, was attended by representatives from all MENA countries (countries of North Africa and Central Asia).
Currently, the sanitary and hygienic industry is actively developing due to the increased demand for disposable hygiene products – napkins, paper towels, and so on. That is why new enterprises are being opened, additional investments are being attracted to the industry, and small companies are merging into large ones. African and Asian paper has a low price, so such products are actively bought by countries in North America and Europe.
Learn more about PTOS
The exhibition was organized in such a way that visitors could get acquainted with all stages of paper production. The exhibits included raw materials, rolls of paper, and finished products. Samples of sheets for various applications were presented: for printing in a printer, calligraphy and writing, applying images, and photography. Of course, examples of sanitary paper were presented: smooth, perforated, ribbed, and so on.
The manufacturers wanted not only to show the result of their efforts but also to familiarize customers and potential buyers with new production and processing technologies. Some stands were devoted to this issue, where everyone could find out in detail how a particular paper is produced at the factory. You could listen to a lecture, watch a presentation, or get acquainted with educational literature. The leading companies gave a brief summary of their achievements over the past year. The full list of events for two days could be found at the main stand.
Environmental Aspect
Of course, much attention was paid to ecology. Companies and businesses shared information about how they take care of the environment. Paper should be produced in such a way that pulp processing waste does not enter rivers and reservoirs. When burning paper, the smoke must be filtered and not pollute the atmosphere with toxic compounds. Paper production is controlled by international environmental organizations, and customers must check the availability of permits and licenses from the manufacturer before purchasing a wholesale batch of goods.
You can find out which B2B Trade Shows have taken place or will take place in the near future on the Globy website in the «Events-calendar» section. By the way, this site offers a wide range of paper products, and you can make bulk orders from vendors in Asia and North Africa at low prices. To start cooperation, you need to quickly register on Globy and provide your company’s details, since the B2B platform is only available to business representatives.
Exhibition Results
The PTS exhibition was organized so that businessmen from different countries could meet with each other and discuss the details of possible deals. The guests of the fair were also able to get acquainted with the most modern achievements of the paper industry. For instance, corrugated paper with various patterns has excellent prospects and is actively used in most countries of the world. Of course, manufacturers try to produce such products so that they can be easily disposed of. For instance, toilet paper that completely decomposes in water is in demand. Next year, PTOS will be repeated; the event will be held in Abu Dhabi or will be moved to another city. If you are connected with the paper industry or trade paper, then you might be interested in visiting the next PTOS fair. Inform the organizers about your desire to participate.
